We all know that Kate is a lover of the high street as well as our very own Alexander McQueen RIP, she has been hitting the street in a quest to find her Christmas outfit. Shopping at Zara (i love Zara) and LK Bennett, the Duchess of Cambridge has apparently as i read in the Daily Mail ordered two dresses from the wonderful Alexander McQueen label who we all now know was the label behind her Wedding Dress this year.
Being a busy girl Kate won't be lounging around opening prezzies and getting ready to go to the relatives, NO she has a very busy day ahead.
I was reading that Jean Broke-Smith (never heard of her but apparently she is a Royal etiquette expert) that Kate will need a casual outfit for breakfast (yep i can just see me doing that eating my scrambled eggs and cheap Bucks Fizz) then a smart outfit for the church service that is tradition and a dress for lunch (bloody el i'm exhausted already), a cocktail dress for early evening drinks (i'd be asleep in the chair by now), and a full-length dress for the evening meal (OMG!!! I couldn't eat another thing)!
Whatever she wears she'll look beautiful as she always does but i'll be thinking of her whilst i'm trudging through the snow or more like freezing cold and possibly rain to the restaurant we're eating at this year for Christmas Dinner and then trudging back home to meet friends to play games and have a festive few drinky poo's at my house. Will i look as beautiful in my high street frock??? Erm maybe not but i'm glad i have my life and that i can do what i like on Christmas Day as i'm sure Kate and her lovely Husband William do.
